An interesting article concerning that postcard, a copy of which I have just bought but the conclusions reached are mostly wishful thinking. the woman is definately not Kiki nor is either of the men behind, Man Ray. For a short while 1930s Kiki did own a bar in Vavin, she lived and died at the bottom end of the street. Funnily enough I have other postcards of the Rotonde with Kiki and ManRay easily identifiable. This Patras card is one of an extensive series of Montparnasse cafes from the late 1930s and not a collage. The imbibers are probably the tail end of the US tourists on the crazy years trail.
